DB Rating

P.S. acoustic pod, the P.S. Phone Booth, has been assessed for its airborne sound insulation and speech privacy performance:

– Sound insulation performance is up to 37 dB at 2 metres.

– In a typical open plan office with ambient noise levels over 40 dB, Workstories P.S. Booth achieves a good speech privacy potential.

Air Quality & Flow

The indoor air quality of all P.S. Booth products is found to be well within the limits of M1 emission classification.

Eco-Efficiency

P.S. Booth products are mainly constructed of birch plywood. All plywood used in Workstories products is produced either in EU countries, while all suppliers are required to have FSC or PEFC certification. A majority of the materials used are recycled or recyclable. The acoustic foam and the interior felt used in the products are up to 60–70% recycled.

Fire Safety

No flammable materials are used in P.S. Booth products. The fire safety of all surface materials, upholstery and acoustics materials of the products is tested and classified to either national or international standards. According to Inspecta, an EU accredited inspection body, there is no requirement to install sprinklers in the booth.

Assembly

P.S. Booth is quickly assembled by two people with minimal tooling required. The simple and efficient design means that it can be taken down and moved as often as required without any loss of performance. P.S. Booth is made up of sturdy individual panels that give it strength and stability whilst the adjustable feet mean it can cope with most surfaces without issue.
